Yesterday we held our annual Unison Heritage Day in our tiny village of Unison. About 250 people showed up to revel in a beautiful indian summer day, including neighbors, friends, and lots of Civil War reenactors.
About People and Nature Journal
People and Nature Journal began as Children and Nature Journal in June of 2007. It provides some daily observations, links, and resources to the topic of people and their connections to nature. The blog was inspired by work I was doing with Rich Louv and others to devise ways of reconnecting children to nature. Since then, I have evolved the nature of the blog to a wider range of issues related to the connections that we all have, or could with nature. Topics can include outdoor sports, relevant news on the Children and Nature Movement, the arts, health, education, wilderness and wildlife issues, and culture. We try to post once a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. Thanks for stopping by. You can find a contact email on my profile page.
