From Texas, a list of things we can do:

Watch fireflies. Generations of kids have been fascinated on warm summer nights watching the off and on flash of the “lightning bugs.” Catch a few and put them in a jar.

Light a campfire. What’s more fun than watching the flames dance as you roast marshmallows, tell scary stories and have a sing-a-long.
